IT Support

there are 3 computers that are connected to the Queen's network. You can find those computers in the front office (by the soda machine), in Mahea's office, or in room 811.

Queen's Webmail

To access to QMC email from home or from UH Tower 8:

  • Open your browser to https://webmail.queens.org
  • Login with your Queen's standard credentials
  • You will then be prompted to enter a code from the Symantec VIP application on your phone. You should already have installed it, if you completed the QCBR Newcomers' Checklist

Sync

A Sync backup folder shortcut should be installed on your computer desktop. This provides up to 1TB of backup capacity. If you do not see the Sync folder, please contact the CATS team at CATS@queens.org to install it.

Quartzy

Quartzy is an online application specifically created for labs to consolidate supply ordering and purchasing:

  • Open your browser to https://app.quartzy.com/login
  • Login with your Quartzy credentials. If you do not have one, please contact Mahea to fill out a "QCBR Staff Access Request" from the ServiceNow website
  • For help on how order from the website, please consult with Mahea or other staff
  • For password resets, please contact the CATS team at CATS@queens.org

QCBR Printers

QCBR has two color laser printers:

  • Sulu is located in Room 805, across from Mahea's office
  • LaForge is located next to the restroom, by room 807 (Reinhold's office)
  • If you cannot see the printer on your computer, please contact the CATS team at CATS@queens.org

Printer usage policy:

  • Please do not print unnecessarily because toner cartridges are expensive
  • If color is not needed, please print using the black/white setting
  • Do not print multiple copies – if print quality is important, you may continue using the print function but if possible, please use the copy machine
  • If the printer is out of toner, please replace the cartridge. The toner cartridges are located next to the restroom. If there is no cartridge available, ask Mahea to order it.
  • If the printer is out of paper, please replace it from the supply near the restroom. If there are is more paper (or the supply is low), ask Mahea to order more.

Kyocera Printer/Fax/Copier/Scanner

QCBR has a Kyocera device with copy, print, scan and fax capabilities. It is located in room 811. For any issues, please contact the Queen's Help Desk at (808) 691-HELP (4357) or at helpdesk@queens.org. You can also review the printer Tip Sheets and Full Manual.

QHS Computers

There are 4 computers that are connected directly to the Queen's network. You can find those computers in the front office (by the soda machine), in Mahea's office, in the lab room 803/804 and in room 811.

QHS Intranet

The QHS intranet http://eww.queens.org is accessible using the following methods:

  • If you are at UH Tower 8, you can use one of the three QHS computers (see information above)
  • If you want to access it from your workstation in your office at UH Tower 8 or from home, open your browser to https://www.queens.org/for-health-care-professionals/for-healthcare-providers
    • Then click on "CARE*Link/Epic (Windows / MAC Users)"
    • Login using your Queen's standard credentials
    • If you do not see the "Intranet" link, call the Queen's HelpDesk

Kronos

You will need to access Kronos if you want to request for PTO or if you need to enter your time (clocking in/out). You can use one of the three QHS computers (see information above):

  • Open the browser to the QHS intranet http://eww.queens.org
  • Click on "Timekeeping & Scheduling" to request PTO or click on "Timestamp Only" to clock in/out
  • Login using your QHS Kronos credentials. Please note that this is not your QHS standard credentials, which you use for webmail and windows login. The login is your user ID and your password may need to be reset by contacting the Help Desk.
  • If the printer is out of toner, please replace the cartridge. The toner cartridges are located next to the restroom. If there is no cartridge available, ask Mahea to order it.
